Yalonda Howze, JD

Yalonda joined Generation Bio in 2023 with nearly two decades of legal and business experience in the biotechnology and life science sectors and has has led strategy and operations across legal, corporate governance, quality, and compliance functions. Before coming to Generation Bio, she served as chief legal officer, chief compliance officer, and corporate secretary of Codiak BioSciences. Prior to her time at Codiak, Yalonda served as a partner at Mintz Levin PC, where she managed transactional and litigation matters spanning a range of practice areas, specializing in the life sciences industry. Yalonda received a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Michigan, a Master of Divinity from the Harvard University School of Divinity, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.
